Community Pantry
Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare (FoodShare) works collaboratively to maximise the volume and nutritional quality of food for local people in need.
FoodShare’s Community Pantry program was developed in response to the evolving impacts of COVID-19 to support people in the community experiencing financial hardship.
This program offers a choice between collecting a food hamper, which is packed by our volunteers, or visiting the FoodShare Shop to individually select from our range of grocery items. These services are accessible by purchasing a FoodShare voucher, which provides excellent value for people in need.
Depending on availability, the shop and hampers contain food staples such as fresh fruit and vegetables, long life milk, fresh and frozen protein as well as non-perishable food such as cereal, muesli bars and canned food. Frozen prepared meals and some household items are also available as well as dog and cat food for pet owners.
